Bluefish444 Converters Now Include In Monitor Display (IMD) Support
Wednesday, June 04, 2008
Bluefish444's redThing and blueThing HD/SD-SDI to DVI-I converters now incorporate In Monitor Display (IMD) and Tally support. IMD enables the insertion of a label and tallies below the viewed image for identification purposes. By combining redThing or blueThing with a Television Systems Tallyman TM1 or TM2 controller, you are able to update the IMD as the source fed to the converter changes. This IMD functionality is an essential part of any broadcast or production environment as it enables easy identification of the source, destination, or use of the viewed images.
